An Order of Australia Medal is one of the highest honours to be bestowed on an individual, and one Rhonda Obad is enjoying her successful nomination.
Founder and Director of Bridge Back to Life Foundation Rhonda has been recognised for her extensive involvement in doing something about young people sleeping on the streets, in alley ways and cardboard boxes. Tony’s Place is an ordinary home in an ordinary suburb of Canberra, with comfortable furniture and a barbecue out the back, the home provides the resident a sense of purpose, stability and certainty about what their future holds.
Rhonda said he was honoured to be nominated for the medal.
